Ground breaking for Standex Electronics. Thunderbird Lane Fairfield Ohio on the 2nd to last lot Michael Lichtenberg & Sons purchased for development.

Standex Electronics will be vacating their old outdated facility in Oakley which they have outgrown upon completion in early 2019.

This 60,000 square foot facility has been designed and engineered by the MLS team.  MLS standard design process included creating a fully animated 3D model of the facility for the client to use in assisting with the plan review.

The project consists of insulated architectural load bearing precast concrete wall panels fabricated by Fabcon which will support a Varco –Pruden roof structure and a superior VP Standing seam roof with an R-34 insulation system.

The entire building including production areas will be climate controlled for employee comfort.  LED lighting will be used through to enhance the assembly process of aero-space electrical components. The project includes an overhead crane to assist with Standex’s injection molding process.
